Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.5+)
Gecko/20011115
BuildID: 2001111503

I first requried a Thawte Freemail Member's Thawte ID certificate.

Then I exported that in Netscape 4.78.
Then I imported that in Mozilla.
Then I selected that certificate under secure mail in both encryption and signing.
Then I tried to send a mail.
This gave an error saying "sending of message failed".
Then I tried to deselect the certificate, but this is not possible. :(

But without any checkboxes in secure mail enabled I could send a mail.

What am I doing wrong, I just want to sign a mail.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install thawte personal certificate
2. Check sign mail checkbox under secure mail
3. Send a mail.

Actual Results: "sending of message failed"

Expected Results: Send a signed mail.

PLUS it should maybe be possible to deselect a certificate under secure mail.

You can request additional info from me as needed.
Mozilla does not support signed mail yet - but it's coming soon.
