Steps to reproduce:

0) launch openSUSE 13.1 x86_64;
1) launch Firefox;
2) serf on the Internet.


Actual results:

On 2nd step some letters "wink"(transofms unpredictedly) on a web-page like in the picture attached (text "...thereby transform t*is pending cosmic..." on the left of #4 from "READ THIS.list").
There a lot similar "winks" on that site and others.


Expected results:

The web-page should be without such a transformed letters and "winks" at all.

Can you provide the graphics details from the "about:support" page, and try if you still see this if you use "Help > Restart with add-ons disabled"? (this will disable hardware acceleration, which might work around the issue...

After clicking on "Help > Restart with add-ons disabled" and launching firefox in Safe mode, I visited "thedailybeast.com" and tried to scroll text down.. and I still see this phenomenon...
and...just now while I am typing this message some letters have "winked" in the text input control.
