Severity: normal → critical
In Ubuntu 14.04 - 14.10
If you restart Firefox using Help > Restart with add-ons disabled (which will disable graphics acceleration), does that remedy the issue?

Can you attach the graphics details from about:support? (use the 'copy raw data to clipboard' button at the top, please, and paste into an attachment here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?bugid=1104591&action=enter )

No all also left. Information from the disabled flag graphics acceleration
Severity: critical → normal
Component: Untriaged → Graphics: Text
Product: Firefox → Core
It may be important to the issue. Distorted characters when scrolling the page. Recorded a video for clarity. Screencast recorded in Ubuntu 14.04, kernel 3.18, Firefox 34. Link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhgqQ1qEYfg&feature=youtu.be
The screenshot here looks more like a general graphics painting issue (layers?) than a text issue, I think.
Component: Graphics: Text → Graphics: Layers
Perhaps only this nasty manifested regardless of video acceleration and video driver (kernel 3.13-3.18), except that there are few precedents on Intel and Nvidia graphics
And yet forgotten, it appears I have for a long time. Ever since the 20th version
Severity: normal → S3
