Morgan mentioned to me that this would be a good exercise, since she'll be working on more reproducible build environments coming up soon. I have a tall stack of patches that doesn't build for ICS. The error messages in the log are not super helpful. It would save me a day or two of try server bisecting if I could download either a tarball of that environment that I can chroot into (on Linux) and run the build. A VM image would work for my present need.
I'd had high-hopes of getting this out of the way as an exercise; but with my Q1 goals in mind I don't think there's time to play with this. Publishing of build environments is on the roadmap on the whole; but will start with Linux FF.
