Need timezone feature for bonsai/tinderbox, maybe a dropdown for an offset that would persist in a cookie.?
future, off 098 radar

tinderbox2 component
Component: Tinderbox → Tinderbox2
After a discussion with Dawn Endico, Chris McAfee, and Asa we deside to put this off until we have a better understanding of the requirements. While it would be helpful for people to see times in their local time there is a worry that this would add to confusion on IM or the telephone if people use the local time to discribe what they see.

If we use a conditional UI such as a tooltip, I don't think the confusion issue will be a problem. We could always try it out and see if users would find this useful or not.
sorry, we're killing later.

I just put something in the code. Now there are several choices of "time column" one displays the local time on the Tinderbox Webserver (current default) one displays UTC time (will be handy for compairing time with CVS) one will display time in the local timezone of the browser. This is configured in the usual tinderbox2 ways.
