1105301 - Deleting an item in the search dropdown deletes two items, leaving a blank one at the bottom

STR:
Type 'aaa' in the new search box on 34.0 beta
In the search suggestions, delete the first result

ER:
The first result is deleted

AR:
The first two results are deleted, and a blank is found at the bottom

Special notes:
(1) The result that was highlighted before deleted is still seen in the search box after the delete. It should have reverted to the typed value.
(2) Deleting search suggestions seems weird. 
(3) It is not obvious what is a suggestion and what is actual search history. This same bug exists for search history, by the way.
(4) When deleting search history, the extraneous result that was deleted due to this bug reappears the next time the popup is reopened. So it is not fully deleted from the database, just from the contents of the popup. I expect this bug to originate from a bug in some loop iteration of the popup/panel code.

This looks like a duplicate of bug 1083990, which has already been fixed on 36 Nightly.
