I have the Properties on the Trash folder in my primary E-mail account set to delete messages that are more than 30 days old. If I move a 45-day-old message into the Trash folder, it is deleted immediately. I want an option that would hold the message in Trash until 30 days (or whatever number of days a user chooses) after that message was moved to Trash. Currently, no record is made of when a message is moved from one folder to another. In implementing this RFE, such a record would be needed but only for the Trash folder. It might be done via a Thunderbird-specific header field added to the message, an entry in Trash.msf, or in an entirely new file.
