Right now the emulators are doing tons of network bound operations in a slow fashion (hitting hg.mozilla.org | git.mozila.org instead of s3) we should use our tc-vcs tools to fetch the initial clone.

This is particularly important as right now we probably will make a dent into hg.mozilla.org traffic.
I confirmed this works after 1109346 has landed.
