It's come to my attention that we've been linking the toolkit into the
application since bug 65678 was "fixed". This goes against our previous stance
of being toolkit agnostic and allowing toolkits to be changed at runtime. Right
now, if support for the gtk toolkit was compiled, then the app will be linked
against gtk and it will always require gtk to run. Can we get this fixed or
publically change our stance?

This should be pavlov's bug, and I have a feeling I know what he's going to do
with it...

ok. since no one seems to care about this (since it has been broken for 6
months and no one has complained), i'm marking this WONTFIX. People who want to
"dynamically" change the app will now, in addition to the libraries, need to
"ship" a new mozilla-bin.
