I see a few stagnate bugs related to this, so I'm filing a new bug.

Nexus 7, using Nightly, I get blurry text after panning down the page a few times:

I saw this on Cracked:

It fixed itself, but notably it only fixed itself after a reflow:

On my Nexus 5 (5.0), trunk build, I get blurred tiles on scroll but they do resolve. I can't tell if the blurred tiles are lasting longer than normal though. Eideticker tests?

Bug 1115434 has a reproducible URL where the page continues to remain blurred. Kevin can reproduce on a Nexus 5 across all channels. This sounds like another shit shouldn't be blurred longstanding issue. Can we track this for 35?

Similar to bug 1115434, I don't think this is low-res blurry. If it were low-res blurry it would be more blurry and at 50% opacity.

It might be worth testing on a build prior to bug 1120211 landing to see if that was responsible, or if it was something else. If it was that bug, then it would be worth uplifting, I think.

I am still seeing this in today's Nightly; twice today.

In one instance the text went blurry, and fixed itself after ~10 seconds idle.

In another instance the text went blurry, I scrolled further and it went slightly blurrier, I scrolled again and it stayed about the same, and never fixed itself.

I can provide screenshots if necessary.

I experience this bug on a daily basis. Almost always on Cracked.com.
