Description:
When user views messages sent to their device in the message app,  a black flicker will occur when selecting a contact to view messages
   
Repro Steps:
1) Update a Flame device to BuildID: 20141201040205
2) Receive messages back and forth between one contact
3) Open Messages app and select a contact to view messages
4) Observe black flicker
  
Actual:
A black flicker appears 
  
Expected: 
black flicker does not appear

This issue does NOT occur on Flame 2.0 and 2.1

This issue is a common use case and very easy to spot. Also a regression. Nominating to block 2.2 on this.

Can you confirm that the bugs goes away if you go in Settings -> Developer & disable low-precision painting + low precision transparency.

Please make sure to reboot the phone after changing this property.

Confirmed, the issue does not repro when disabling low-precision painting and low precision transparency and restarting the phone.
