From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.6+) Gecko/20011116 BuildID: 2001111621 I am using mozilla on my debian woody system. When my fresh mozilla profile gets about 2 days old it makes mozilla unstable. After 'some' time, clicking a link will freeze all open mozilla windows. No cpu activity or network traffic. Killing Mozilla and deleting the profile fixes the problem. After some time, it hapens again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Use Mozilla until it freezes/crashes 2.delete profile 3.Use Mozilla again until it freezes/crashes Actual Results: Mozilla crashes but it's hard to say what the time-span is from fresh to crash
I never had a problem like this with my own .mozilla profile. The time you run Mozilla for might have something do do with it.. Are you running it continously for days in a row? What are your system resources (RAM, CPU) when the hang occures? What happens if you kill mozilla when it hangs and do NOT delete the profile? (but simply restart it)
