User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:34.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/34.0 Build ID: 20141127111021 Steps to reproduce: When you want to perform a search you was able to specify the search engine desired with the ctrl+up or ctrl+down to switch engine to an another when the focus was on the search bar. Firefox 34 break that's shortcut (now it's point and click). You can no longer change the position of the search engine (like i want that google is the first, the second is mozilla developper, the third is youtube, ...) Actual results: The shortcut has been remove or broken. We can no longer switch to a search engine with the ctrl+(arrow up or down). The alt+down opened a box that you after see all the search engine to choose directly the one you wanted to perform the search with. Ctrl+arrow (Up or Down) : switch the search engine one to an another but one-by-one Alt+Down : Let you choose directly the search engine. Expected results: bring back the old search method the news tiles for the search is just terrible. See the firefox 33

Now the news way is tab and shift-tab in the search bar to change the engine.

FYI: Thankfully you can get the old behavior back: about:config -> browser.search.showOneOffButtons = false
