"Minuum" keyboard does not open automatically when focusing the address bar in landscape orientation

Details

STR:
1. Install "Minuum" keyboard: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whirlscape.minuumfree
2. Rotate phone to landscape orientation
3. Touch in address bar to open bookmarks/history screen

RESULT:
Nothing happens. If you touch in the address bar when the bookmarks/history screen is already open in landscape orientation, then the Minuum keyboard will open as expected.

The Minuum keyboard opens automatically as expected when focusing the address bar in portrait orientation.
This works for me using all current releases and Minimum 3.0.
