The summary basically says it. mailnews is pretty much broken with
--disable-necko as its idl files are trying to access other idl files that don't
exist in these. So I just added --disable-mailnews. After this,
plugins/src/nglsrc/Makefile.in is trying to link with necko_util... i'm still
building so if i see anything else useuful, i'll add updates. Basically i need
to do this to get around bug 10888 which is keeping me from being able to debug.
I can get to the docloader.. but that fails..
../../../webshell/src/nsDocLoader.cpp:1094: `mDocumentChannel' undeclared (first
use this function)
This shouldn't be new news. We landed the mailnews necko integration branch to
turn necko on.

If you want to build with necko disabled you need to pull the static tag that
cyeh posted in an earlier message. I can dig up the static tag if you need it.

But --disable-necko should be deprecated as people aren't going to be
maintaining that base anyway and as I said mailnews will never build with
non-necko.

You need to pull the static tag.

resolving as won't fix
i can't pull the static tag that cyeh posted because i need to debug code that
is in form the last day or two. i can't do this because of bug 10888, so fix
that one :P
Stuart -- do you have a fix for the build rules that are a problem? You should
also try posting your complaint to mozilla-netlib to see if andreas can fix it
for you. He's been doing a lot of linux makefile stuff for necko.
