Steps to reproduce:

Opened two browser windows. With the first window active I clicked on the Window menu.


Actual results:

Only "Minimize" and "Zoom" are shown. The two windows are not listed. When I manually switch to the second window, I do get a list of the open windows.


Expected results:

There should be a list of currently open windows, the active one and the inactive one.

I am unable to reproduce this bug in OSX version 10.10.1 in the latest Firefox Nightly.

I would be grateful if you would provide some additional information:

    Does the bug happen in other browsers (try the same in Safari)?
    Does the bug happen when running in Safe Mode (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode)?
    Does the bug happen when you apply the latest update to OSX 10.10.1 (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1779)?
    Does the bug happen for you with the latest Firefox Nightly (https://nightly.mozilla.org/)?

I have the same issue, and not having found this report had opened this as a new bug.  I can confirm that I have this problem now ALL the time, and that it is limited to Firefox.  The only way that I can see open web pages is IF I have open a separate window (its own tab) that lands on the Firefox home page.  IF/WHEN I click on that web page window, I then will see all open web pages listed in the above Window menu.  IF I am currently active on any other loaded web page, nothing will appear in the Window menu other than the Minimize and Zoom.

It should be noted that this bug (1107094) and the potentially duplicate bug (1107112) apply to different versions of OSX.  1107112 was reported against OSX 10.7.  So this issue appears NOT to be specific to Yosemite.

     How about in the latest Firefox Nightly (https://nightly.mozilla.org/)?

That is correct, my bug was reported for my using OSX 10.7.

I am currently in Safe Mode, and have done that a total of three times now just to be sure because in Safe Mode I appear to not have the problem.

Added -- this is quite odd, although I have rebooted Firefox dozens of times since I reported my own bug, now that I have rebooted after having tried it in Safe Mode, I can't seem to replicate the symptoms that I have consistently had.  I didn't get any plug-in error messages (my plugins are very limited anyway) when I rebooted after quiting Safe Mode.  I can't tell if I am still in Safe Mode (stuck in it).

I now have three days of "no problems" since I rebooted into Safe Mode and then back into regular mode.

I experienced the problem reported by Chris Carey on my initial restart of FF after the 34.0.5 update. Running OSX 10.7.5. The listing in the Window menu was limited to Minimize and Zoom when any of my restored windows was on top. However, if I had a newly opened window, or the Preferences dialog, on top, all windows were listed.

When I quit FF and restarted, the problem was resolved, even without opening into Safe mode.

There are now several reports of this, but we don't have a reliable way to reproduce this issue - it seems to be very intermittent (see also below, where lots of people say it goes away miraculously).

If anyone figures out a reliable way to cause this issue to happen, that'd be super helpful.
