Steps to reproduce:

Tried to install language packs which have been downloaded from https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/latest/win32/xpi/, but it says "Language Pack could not be installed because it is not compatible with Firefox 34.0"

Checked files in https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/latest/win32/xpi/ and https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/34.0/win32/xpi/. They have same size and timestamp, but md5sums differ.

This is because we shipped two versions of 34.0. The second of which has the version number of 34.0.5, and is considered later. You can get the 34.0 langpacks from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/34.0/.

To add to the confusion, 34.0.5 is what we offer users who are downloading Firefox for the first time, but 34.0 is what we're offering users via our update mechanism. These streams will be merged together again in the near future. Thanks for reporting this though!
