Seth, you mentioned some other work needed for this.  Can you file a separate
bug for that?  (Something about browser links going to the account wizard.)

I have the fix in hand for this.

two cases:

if you run news://host/group and you already have <host> in your accounts, then
it will just add <group> to that server.

if you run news://host/group and you don't have <host> in your accounts, it will
create a new account, and the identity that gets associated with this new
account will be a copy of the default identity associated with the default
account.

will check in these fixes today.

note, snews://host/group doesn't work yet.

Yes. The Basic is working now...there are some other issues/bugs which already 
known(logged) or need to address to other separate bugs.
