User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/39.0.2171.71 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

Enable e10s.
Open for example 5 tabs.
Open one more but leave empty.
Close FF.

Actual results:

When I open again there's only 4 tabs and 2 empty.

Expected results:

Open all 5 tabs and one empty.

This happens on Windows and Linux.
I suppose you have the "Show my windows and tabs from last time" option set.
Unable to reproduce on nightly 37.0a1 (2014-12-07) Win 7, e10s ON.
Please try in safe mode and on a clean profile.
Component: Untriaged → Session Restore
This always happens with https://mail.google.com.
Just open some tabs and GMail.
Then close and reopen.

I have "Show my windows and tabs from last time" enabled.

I have been trying to reproduce this on Win8.1 and Win7 with the two different settings for restoring tabs (show home page/restore session and "show tabs from last time") using the instructions in comment #0 and comment #2, but so far no luck.

Alexandre, are you using any add-ons I could try to reproduce this with?
Flags: needinfo?(alexandrevicenzi)
Not sure. Using OpenSuse I can't reproduce too. I'll try to reproduce with all Add-ons disabled and in safe mode on Windows.

On Suse I have:

Adblock Plus	                2.6.6	        true	{d10d0bf8-f5b5-c8b4-a8b2-2b9879e08c5d}
Firebug 2.0.7 true	firebug@software.joehewitt.com
PDF Viewer 1.0.978 true	uriloader@pdf.js
Shumway 0.9.3486	true	shumway@research.mozilla.org
openSUSE Firefox Extensions	1.0.2 false	susefox@opensuse.org
I can reproduce on Windows 8.1 with Add-ons and not in safe mode.
I can't reproduce with add-ons disable and safe mode.

How can I check what is the problem? I also added Troubleshooting Information file.

It looks like the problem might related to one of the add-ons. One way to find out is to enable the add-ons one by one until you can reproduce the problem. I'll take a quick look and see if I can reproduce it with the list you provided.

I have been trying to reproduce this with the add-ons listed in comment #6, but I'm still not able to reproduce this on Win8.1 nor Win7. I tried enabling one by one individually, and then all at the same time. I haven't tried this on Linux, yet.
Just to be sure, are you using e10s?
Flags: needinfo?(jbecerra)
I disabled all add-on and dictionaries, but I still have this bug. Version 37.0a1 (2014-12-14) on Windows 8.1.
Still trying to reproduce this. Today I tried on Linux, going through the list of modified preferences as seen in comment #6 like: browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand = false, but I'm still not having any luck.

I will try a different Windows 8.1 machine and report back.

Alexandre, I am going to leave this bug as Unconfirmed for now, unless you can narrow down the add-on or preference causing this.
OK. I'll try to find out.
NI to Alexandre, for the info Juan asked for
