We have code we can drop into sequential donation form to enable Google Wallet autocomplete. This might improve mobile conversion. secretrobotron has back story. See the "see also" bug 1007181.

Please go in to BSD and check out the latest code there.  The form was built mainly by a contractor firm so the code in our Github repo isn't really up-to-date.

Just to confirm this, Andrea. We are doing this for Chrome user correct? because Google Wallet autoComplete feature is not available on Firefox yet.

correct, it's primarily for people who read our email appeals and click to donate on mobile. Chrome will be the most useful.

Following the call, here are some stats:

Mobile Chrome Users to-date for EOY:
* 4,100 Sessions
* 88 Donations
* $1,402

This is worth doing it yes -- esp. since the ^ data from Adam is only from 1 email to our foundation list primarily. However, we still have 4 more emails + FF&Y which will be a huge spike in mobile donations. So yes, this is worthy please do!

Here's what we got through the rest of the year as far as email goes.

December 22 - Email appeal from MS - 1 million
December 27 - Email from community member - 1 million
December 27 - Launch FF&Y test - 300k
December 30 - Foundation appeal from Mitchell - 1 million
December 30 - FF&Y appeal - 2 million
December 30 - FF&Y appeal to localized communities
December 31 - Final Foundation email from MS - 1 milion

Can I ask what the flow will be for this?  Do we redirect Google Wallet enabled users directly or we introduce a 3rd payment option on our donation form?

It's just code that sits in the background that detects if they're donating via Chrome or an Android device with Google Wallet enabled. There's no need to add any graphics or button. See the "see also" bugs for examples. It should be simple to implement.
