User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/39.0.2171.71 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

Add these two pages to your home screen using the Firefox app:

http://www.mbta.com/rider_tools/realtime_bus/?r=66&d=66_0_var0&s=1365&ts=1366

http://www.mbta.com/rider_tools/realtime_bus/?r=77&d=77_0_var0&s=2273&ts=2274

(By the way, those pages are buggy - the selected bus is selected by cookies or similar, not the URL parameters that it looks like it should be. The URLs were generated by the mostly useless "Update page address so that it can be bookmarked" link on the page.)

Go to one of them as an app from your home screen. Change the selected bus using the pull-down menu. Then go to the other app from your home screen. Notice that the selected bus is what you picked on the pull-down menu in the other app.

Expected behavior: doing something in one app shouldn't affect the other app (provided there's no server-side tracking of the user).

The actual behavior is unexpected to me, given that their shared cookie jar(?) is not shared with the Firefox app, and that cookie jars for, say, Facebook seem to be non-shared between the Facebook app, the Firefox app, and a misc other app you create out of e.g. a blog post that lets you comment using facebook. Also this thread suggests that separate-cookie-jars is the intended behavior: http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.mozilla.devel.b2g/10814

Is this a bug? Or are different things on your home screen supposed to be able to affect each other? Tested on device in fxos1.3 and in simulator for fxos2.0 and fxos2.2.
