I think it actually is like the UI implies. For at least 14 days OR when I delete them.

Toral, thanks for taking time to file what you thought is a bug in the UI design.
This is how it works:
1) Leave on Server:
- if checked: Forever unless specified otherwise below; using with 2) or 3) will still leave msgs on server, but for shorter periods of time.
- if unchecked: Delete all msgs immediately after receiving with TB (without waiting time, regardless of deletion in TB)
2) For at most 14 days: maximally 14 days after receiving with TB, any msg will be deleted (if it hasn't already been deleted by 3) below)
3) Until I delete them: If I delete msg in TB, they will also be deleted on server immediately (or very soon, not sure about the technicalities). If used WITHOUT 2), all other msgs will remain on server forever.
2) and 3) can be combined, or you can use only one of them.
If combined, manual deletion within less than 14 days will cause your msg to be deleted on server BEFORE the usual waiting time of 14 days, hence "at most" 14 days (not "at least").
So I agree with comment 1, the behaviour should be exactly as the UI suggests, so this is not a bug.
If any of these behaviours fail (especially when combined), pls file a new bug.
The current summary...
> pop3: "Until I delete them" choice should grey out "For at most (14) days"
... requests something which is technically impossible even if the choices were alternative (which would require radio boxes, not disabling), but they are additive additive, so checkboxes are the correct UI element.
