I need more precise definition from marketing about what, exactly, this should looke like but I do know that we'll need to make use of the browser so there are some dependant bugs which I'll enter.

I think we have enough definition for me to take this bug. As I understand it, this is mostly required to support the auto-install functionality. We do not need to eliminate the need to shut down the browser, but only postpone it beyond the point where the user has all the necassary decisions and we can download and launch and launch a xpi installer.

Yes, it will only be needed to facilitate the auto-run feature now.

Can we considered this resolved for MachV purposes? I know there are still a few bugs to fix, but are we meeting the MachV PRD A.1 requirements at this time?

Yes. As you note, we are in the bugfix mode on a couple of things but PRD functionality is in place. I'm leaving the bug open for tracking purposes but there are no keywords or milestones tying this to the MachV effort.

We fixed this differently, as per another bug. The installer forces shuddown now at the appropriate time now.

[RFE] is deprecated in favor of severity: enhancement. They have the same meaning.
