(In reply to Darren Olivier from comment #0) > 4) Clicked OK I don't have any "OK" button Works fine for me with yahoo feed set, e10s ON, 37.0a1 (2014-12-10) Win 7 Please check if the issue occurs using Firefox in safe mode (with your addons disabled): http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode And on a new, empty profile: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager

I'm able to reproduce, and it's not related to e10s. STR: 1) Open Options > Applications 2) Chnage the settings for one Content Type like from "Preview in Nightly" to "Save File" for PDF files 3) Restart Nightly 4) Try to change again the settings for this content type Result: impossible to change, the previous choice is "stuck" and the drop-down list doesn't appear. The user needs to change another content type and restart to have the hand again on the actions for the 1st content type.

(In reply to Loic from comment #2) > Result: impossible to change, the previous choice is "stuck" and the > drop-down list doesn't appear. This is very strange, cause it's working fine for me, 37.0a1 (2014-12-10) Win 7 x64, both with e10s ON/OFF.

Paul, did you restart Nightly after changing an action in the drop-down list?

This works for me as well, on 32-bit Nightly from January 6 with e10s enabled, on Win8.1 64-bit. Loic, are you using a clean profile? Any chance an add-on is changing something here? In case it matters, the Windows install I'm testing on has Adobe Reader installed, so PDFs have different default options and such... My initial tests were with in-content prefs, whereas comment #0 is using a separate window, but that, too, seems to work for me...

Oh. In fact, while I can change the pref correctly from the pref window, the *behaviour* stays the same - the default feed display opens. Darren, is this what you mean?
(In reply to Gijs Kruitbosch from comment #6) > This works for me as well, on 32-bit Nightly from January 6 with e10s > enabled, on Win8.1 64-bit. > > Loic, are you using a clean profile? Any chance an add-on is changing > something here? I'm able to reproduce it with 3 profiles, one profile has no add-on. STR: 1) Be sure you enable in-content settings (by default) 2) Be sure you selected "When Nightly starts: Show my windows and tabs from last time" 3) Open just the tab about:preferences#applications then follow my STR in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1109618#c2

I think this bug is a dupe of bug 1111540 which is fixed in FF38+. Reporter, could you install Aurora and test if it's fixed on your side, please.
