From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.5) Gecko/20011012 BuildID: 2001101201 When trying to open a vfat folder from the browser's "Open File" dialog box, double clicking the folder does not work. I have to highlight the folder and click on "Open". Note that I run a Linux-based Mozilla on an Linux partition. Also, the folders will open once I am within a vfat folder. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Click on File > Open File 2.Double click on a vfat folder. Nothing happens. 3.With the folder highlighted, click on "Open". The folder opens, and operation continues as normal. Actual Results: The vfat folder does not open until manually clicking on "Open". Folders within this folder will open as normal, however. Expected Results: The folder should open w/ a double click. Mozilla on a Red Hat Linux 7.1 Linux partition. The problem occurred with both ext2 and ext3 partitions while trying to access a vfat folder.

The bug appears fixed in the 0.9.6 release; vfat folders now open fine for me.
