User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:34.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/34.0
Build ID: 20141209215107

Steps to reproduce:

I had an embedded youtube element with "This plugin is vulnerable".
I clicked on "Check for updates"
A new tab opened for https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/?utm_source=firefox-browser&utm_medium=firefox-browser&utm_campaign=plugincheck-update

Actual results:

I then saw "Checking with Mozilla on the status of your plugins" but this never seems to complete

Expected results:

The page should have reported the results of the check
Okay, things are slightly better now.

I site is giving me results but the results do not include anything about an Adobe Flash plugin.

There is a "Shockwave Flash" but its status does not provide the information that it is vulnerable. However, the about:addson page says that it is vulnerable. Is "Shockwave Flash" named wrong?

The problems experienced by these users was to some extend related to a server overload due to the zero day bug in Flash and it therefore being blocklisted. Some of the other mentioned problems are known and are being addressed, but are tracked in separate bugs so, I am closing this as resolved/worksforme here.
