111082 - QuickSearch: Collapsing folder or acct structure won't clear search field

Using nov20 commercial trunk build

After initiating a search, collapsing the folder or account hierarchy
surrounding the searched folder will not clear the search text.  Even after
selecting another folder/group/account, the search text field will not be
cleared. The thread pane will not necessarily be cleared, either, and in some
cases it behaves oddly (varied behavior).

1.  Open a folder or newsgroup in 3-pane mail window, search bar is shown.
2.  Type some text in the search bar which will result in several search matches.
3.  Collapse the account to which the searched folder/group belongs.
    Result:  search text field is not cleared as it should be. Thread pane may
or may not be cleared -- varied behavior seen.
4.  Select another account's folder or group.  Search still not cleared.
5.  Clear the search text (you're in the different folder/group now) and type
some new text to initiate a new search.
    Result:  may or may not behave correctly to show correct results for the
newly selected folder -- I've seen varied behavior.

Note:  This also happens if you're in one account and search a sublevel folder
then collapse the parent folder structure.

Note:   Have seen a couple instances where the thread pane repaints with nothing
but unread/green icon and mail message icon, no header content. If a line is
clicked, the message pane will display content  (of previous results?).

The weird blank but selectable thread pane display happens when collapsing a
news account and not selecting any other folder/group/account.

Yeah, this is weird behavior. If acct is collapsed so that Nothing in Folder 
pane is selected, search field should clear.
