See try run at https://treeherder.mozilla.org/ui/#/jobs?repo=try&revision=ffa1a73cd938 - when event regions are turned on, there is a crashtest failure across various platforms including OS X and Linux. I was able to reproduce this locally on Linux just by turning on event-regions and running the crashtest (I didn't try on OS X). This needs to be resolved before we can enable event-regions across all platforms.
I did a new try push that included bug 1112501 and this no longer happens. Closing as fixed via bug 1112501.
