User Agent: Opera/9.80 (X11; Linux x86_64) Presto/2.12.388 Version/12.16 Steps to reproduce: after noticing some Idiot at Firefox screwed Shockwave Flash Player - I followed all the steps the Idiot proposed - all FAILED. I then went OFF-Site and tried other suggestions to Fix what the IDIOT had broken - all Failed Actual results: All attempts to repair what the Idiot at Firefox broke, FAILED Expected results: If the Idiot thought not using Flash, or was attempting to force users to always consider the use of FLASH; all the while, having no solution from his/her own Idiot Mind then you have to wonder what to do with Your Idiot. What he has broken cannot be repaired - Perhaps Your idiot should consider TESTING his/her Idiot idea. Specifically, all attempts at remedy for Fedora 20 FAIL! what a MORON!!!

Not security sensitive and not an actionable bug. I don't know what you are referring to but I certainly hope you feel better after this rant. For what it's worth, I run Fedora 20 and also use Flash. $ sudo yum list 'flash-plugin' Loaded plugins: langpacks, refresh-packagekit Installed Packages flash-plugin.x86_64 11.2.202.425-release @adobe-linux-x86_64 $ uname -r 3.17.4-200.fc20.x86_64

One of the configured repositories failed (mono and monodevelop (Fedora_20)), and yum doesn't have enough cached data to continue. At this point the only safe thing yum can do is fail. There are a few ways to work "fix" this: 1. Contact the upstream for the repository and get them to fix the problem. 2. Reconfigure the baseurl/etc. for the repository, to point to a working upstream. This is most often useful if you are using a newer distribution release than is supported by the repository (and the packages for the previous distribution release still work). 3. Disable the repository, so yum won't use it by default. Yum will then just ignore the repository until you permanently enable it again or use --enablerepo for temporary usage: yum-config-manager --disable home_tpokorra_mono 4. Configure the failing repository to be skipped, if it is unavailable. Note that yum will try to contact the repo. when it runs most commands, so will have to try and fail each time (and thus. yum will be be much slower). If it is a very temporary problem though, this is often a nice compromise: yum-config-manager --save --setopt=home_tpokorra_mono.skip_if_unavailable=true failure: repodata/89fa1994c5287097e6ce10e52acc08fc1c9ce6a27c92008be0841a38c5d9a1be-primary.xml.gz from home_tpokorra_mono: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try. http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/tpokorra:/mono/Fedora_20/repodata/89fa1994c5287097e6ce10e52acc08fc1c9ce6a27c92008be0841a38c5d9a1be-primary.xml.gz: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404 - Not Found [apple@localhost ~]$ uname -r 3.17.4-200.fc20.x86_64 [apple@localhost ~]$

I suggest you fix the repo problem or work around it as described in the yum error message. None the less, this is not an issue with Firefox but with your local Fedora installation. I'm sure with a little searching you can find a solution. Perhaps in the future you may get more help if you didn't call people idiots. Please don't reopen this bug again.
