User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:34.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/34.0 Build ID: 20141125180439 Steps to reproduce: Delete any entry in History (sync has to be enabled, and Master Password set but not entered in current session). !!! This report also confirms 1111972 and few other reports. Actual results: Master Password dialog appears. You have to cancel it or enter password, then entry is deleted. Expected results: Master Password dialog should not apprear, entry in History just should be deleted.
Additional informations and changes to report: ----- There is: Steps to reproduce: Delete any entry in History... etc. Should be: Delete any entry in History, but the whole site - not single page... etc. ----- In addition to 'Actual results': But if you have cancelled request for Master Password, then you are not asked for it later on pages using saved passwords, and - of course - user and pass fields are not filled.
Component: Untriaged → Sync
This is the same underlying issue as bug 1111972. If a master password is set, we need it in order to sync. Deleting a history item forces a sync (of that change), which requires unlocking your Sync credentials.

so it is a bug 1. i do not sync my history, and then asking for master password when deleting history entries is not necessary 2. that what you've said doesn't explain, why ff asks for master password when deleting whole site from history, and not when deleting single page

"Forget about this site" deletes more than just history, it also clears various caches, cookies, passwords, etc. If you have a password saved for a site that you're forgetting, that will trigger it as well.

This is almost certainly a saved password. I think there was also a bug in the last three years about trackers being live unnecessarily; that's fixed.
