For the user story above, I'd recommend a new or refreshed MDN docs article covering best practices and then widely distributed via Apps & Hacks newsletter, twitter, other key channels. I will write the Newsletter paragraph announcing this launch - I would probably lead with a link to a best practices/what you need to know article, with a secondary call to action that would link to Hacks blog more as an FYI... 

** Happy to help identify/recruit author(s) - for Hacks blog this should be a technical post focused on a  developer audience and something relevant/new/exciting that would be of interest even if someone is not necessarily a Open Web app or Firefox app developer (maybe bwalker or someone on his team could write about some interesting aspect) - or, it could be more generally about best practices for developers doing cross-device/responsive design... or performance or... 

** I am likely to migrate the Hacks blog editorial calendar from zimbra to Gcal in the next few weeks, but generally speaking, i would like to avoid use of bugzilla as editorial calendaring/scheduling tool for hacks blog…  Stay tuned. (for the time being, email/IRC is the best way to contact me to propose or schedule new hacks blog posts, alert me to newsletter content)
