Details
Hi, In the PDX office I cannot pull down content faster than ~500KB/s via wifi and ~700KB/s via wired. As a result a routine transfer that takes ~3:28 on my home (wifi) connection reportedly will take ~3 hours via the office network. I am currently trying to hack around the firewall rules on admin1a (which will not allow outbound ssh connections, so no sftp) to circumvent this issue, however it would be awesome if the office network would allow reasonable throughput. Thanks

JD: Can you send your source/destination addresses and just for test ... go to speedtest.net and let me know what the speed they register is. Your office has a 1GB connection through our POPs and this is not the performance we'd expect.

The source is 10.8.70.95 Destination is 10.22.248.58 (my VPN IP) or 10.248.33.181 (My wlan0 IP) speedtest.net says 29MB/s down & 18MB/s up Also I just tested the transfer again and was able to get 1.9MB/s, which is better but stil substantially slower than it should be IMHO. Thanks

Not having made any changes ... can you test from a wired connection? And I'll look at the hops along the path.

I was on a wired connection this morning when I filed the bug, do you need me to test it again?
