We'd like to see the results of the second Firefox updaet hotfix. This is a bug to track the gathering of that data.

Can you provide details about what "results" means? As I understand it, Robert is getting the update logs and other data recorded in the hotfix in order to diagnose the problem. Other than that, what results are you looking for?

I don't think that creating a general report on this is currently a high priority.

sphol asked us to file a bug, so that's why this was filed. Please follow up with him if you feel that was done in error. We just need results to help us track success metrics on our side.

Right, I asked him to talk to you about it. I'm just saying that I don't think it's important to spend time to provide the data you're asking for. So we could either leave this bug open-but-unassigned, or WONTFIX it.

Why do you feel that it's not important to measure the success of the projects we run? This is curious to me. without knowing how well this hotfix deployed we are left in the blind going forward.

The primary purpose of re-releasing the update hotfix was to collect the diagnostic update data for Robert. Other than once more after we ship self-support, I don't think we're planning on doing another update hotfix.

Hey Benjamin. If pulling all of that data is too much work at this point, could we rescope the initial request and pull the additional information later? This project was flagged as growth team opportunity. There are several other projects suggested for updating users to the latest version of Firefox as well, but this feels like the most efficient way of doing it. If we could at least tell how many users were updated it would help to assess if Growth Team efforts should be spent on those other projects.
