Bug 1009937 was a success, and we're starting to get some spam messages in mozilla.support.thunderbird, so I'd like to apply the same changes in bug 1009937 to mozilla.support.thunderbird.

We've got a vulgar troll posting via Google Groups[1], so I'm upping the severity on this bug.

Status has been changed to moderated in Mailman.  Google should pick it up around midnight PST via their automation.  I've opened a ticket with Giganews to get it changed on their end.  Results will be unpredictable and you may have messages getting posted that shouldn't, or not getting posted that should, until all three places match again.

The automated response from Giganews says "Please note, if this request was received after normal business hours (9am-5pm M-F CST) or on a weekend or holiday, a reply may be delayed."  I don't know what they consider a holiday around Christmas, but if they take the extended version it may be Monday before we get a response.

Messages are going through the moderator queue, but they are still show up in the newsgroup before I can approve them. Is this bug waiting on anyone else?
