EragonJ, James Burke do you think one of your commits might affect this bug??
This is a functional regression that breaks smoke tests. Requesting a window.
Peter the regression window is provided in the first comment
Scratching window then.
My change in gaia was scoped only to inside the email app, around notifications generated and consumed by the email app, so it is hard for me to see how it would cause this problem.
:jmercado, please provide a regression window. Thanks! :-)
Looking into this now.

This may be caused by my patch but I remembered I quickly revert my patch here https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/commit/c7ee7755e0fd14c74595b2ae02f148e17be69777, can you try again with gaia/master ?
please retest tomorrow. thanks.
I confirm this issue is not reproducible in latest master build, the test works as expected.
