1113243 - Domain configuration for Shape of the Web

In bug 1096391 we were given ownership of the shapeoftheweb.org/.com domains.

As we are changing some of the hosting requirements (bug 1088752) for Shape of the Web based on the final delivery, we need to revisit our domain setup.

Options:

1. shapeoftheweb.org is the final URL for the site. shapeoftheweb.com will redirect to shapeoftheweb.org

2. shapeoftheweb.com/.org will redirect to mozilla.org/shapeoftheweb

The only main talking point is if the site wants its affiliation to Mozilla represented in the domain.

Hi-  Thanks for this question.  Now that we're engaged with the Policy group and considering content partnership with other like-minded orgs- I need to put this question to the wider group.  

I'm going to have a final push kick off session in the next two weeks and i'll get the answer.

A decision has been made here. 

shapeoftheweb.com/org  will redirect to shapeoftheweb.mozilla.org

Since we will be transferring user data on the site, we'll need an SSL certificate.

Redirect completed in bug 1121270. Note shapeoftheweb.mozilla.org is redirecting to the Wiki.
