User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:33.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/33.0 Build ID: 20141113143407 Steps to reproduce: Trouble started when latest version of Thunderbird (31.3.0) installed yesterday. It appears all settings are fine. The earlier versions have worked fine for 8 years now. Actual results: All incoming email stays on the Brighthouse server. Does not download to Thunderbird.
So what actually happens? Possible reasons: - you use a (software) firewall/antivirus program that need to be configured to allow connections through - the server uses SSL 3 which is no longer allowed For debugging create a pop3 or imap protocol log - https://wiki.mozilla.org/MailNews:Logging
Summary: Emails are not forwarded to Thunderbird 31.3.0. They remain on the Brighthouse server. → Emails are not downloaded from the Brighthouse server
