Steps to reproduce:

Similar to 75497 except that it fails on a reply.  Works correctlky on a brand new message.

1. Click reply to a message.
2. Note that signature from account A is inserted
3. Change from to account B


Actual results:

The signature for account B is inserted above the signature for account A.


Expected results:

The signature for account B should replace the signature for account A.

Works for me in a current nightly build.
Do you also see this in version 38?
Had you started typing in the message body betwen step 2 and 3?

I can no longer reliably reproduce this in version 31.  
If the first thing that I do is changing the from account, the signature is updated as it should be.  Trying to change it after some typing or trying to change back to the original account works, but not perfectly.

Based on 38.2.0

With a reply to an incoming email that is in the Inbox.

a) Changing the "from" account the first time does update the signature block perfectly. 
b) Each subsequent change of the "from" account adds a new signature block, with the new from account's block being above the others. 
c) Typing in the body of the reply email THEN changing the from account does remove the old block but inserts the new signature block above my body text rather than below.
d) Continuing scenario c), switching back and forth between accounts changes the improperly place signature block from c), without adding additional blocks, but I seem to get an additional blank line before my body text each time.
