Draging and dropping a link into a message often doesn't discontinue the link.
Somtimes using the insert link dialog does the same thing.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open a new message compose window
2. leave focus in address box
3. drag and drop a link to the message box
4. change focus to the message box
5. type some text

Actual Results:  The added text becomes part of the link text

Expected Results:  The added text should be seperate

I can reproduce this almost every time with the above steps. I can occasionally
reproduce this with the insert link dialog, or with drag and drop after changing
focus to the message box.

Workaround:
Explicitly discontinue the link via menu or ctrl-shift-k

Mail compose is a special case of editor; duping.  As I just mentioned there, this problem appears to have been solved.
