111490 - Mozilla still unable to send emails

when trying to send an email, I get the msg box:
"The current command did not succeed. The mail server responded: permission
denied". Mozilla then sends the msg without probs, then obviously tries to put
the msg into the "sent" folder (which is on an IMAP server), but fails:

I then klick on ok. Mozilla now says: "copying message to sent folder" for ages,
so I click cancel. I then see my msg in read-only mode with shaded out "to",
"Subject" and msg text area.
When trying to close the msg window, it asks whether it should save it or not.
NS 4.x with the same SMPT/IMAP server works fine.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. use 0.9.6
2. use 0.9.5
3. use Netscape 6.2
... they all behave the same way

Summary says "unable to send emails" but comment says "Mozilla then sends the
msg without probs".

If it only takes long time: Comment #25 in bug 89285 hints that deleting
Sent.msf might help. Can you try that and see if the error persists?

That is simple to explain. Being a dumb user, I see that Mozilla tells me that
the mail could not be sent, and that is the only feedback that a normal user
gets. Being my mail server's admin, I can see that the mail was delivered
without problems.

Deleting Sent.msf did not help.

Reporter: Does this problem still occur with a recent nightly? What is the name
of your IMAP server (courier/uw-imap/cyrus/..)?
