Yura, please provide a description of the problem... Is it possible this is a DUP of bug 84223 or bug
sujay i think they are relative problems if they use same code. But the bug #84223 is about printing and this one is about print preview.
Yura, it would help if you mentioned Print Preview in the summary. Also it would help if you outlined steps to reproduce the problem involving Print Preview.
Resetting target milestone. (0.9.7 is gone, and this field belongs to the assignee, not the reporter.)
Target Milestone: mozilla0.9.7 → ---
Moving to print preview on basis of comment 6. Old Summary: Prints text outside the page. New Summary: Print preview text outside the page The URL is dead. Judging from the JPEG's, though, I think this problem has been solved.
Component: Printing → Print Preview
Summary: Prints text outside the page. → Print preview text outside the page
I still see this bug sometimes in print preview (which I don't use that much), though the printed page looks fine. Please note the placement of the link 'released' in the attached screenshot. I will attach the HTML page which I have used to produce this print preview next. I'm using Mozilla 1.0rc1 on Windows 2000 [Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020417].
This HTML file has been opened locally in order to produce the screenshot.
screenshot for html file from comment #11 showing the problem using linux. note the misplaced links, and the text cut off on the right border. on print, the text isnt cut off, but i see also minor problems with misplaced links. Mozilla 1.0 RC1 on SuSE Linux 8.0 Page Setup | Shrink to fit page Width checked
looks like, the "misplaced link (overlapped text)" issue is handled by bug 109970 the "text cut off on right border" issue is handled by bug 109565 i cant reproduce the "text outside the page" issue shown in attachment from comment #4 by the reporter (screenshots were made with 0.9.6). text isnt out of page in print preview. tested with: moz 1.0 RC1, Suse Linux 8.0 moz 1.0 RC1, Windows 2000
WFM on win2k moz 2002052806. BUT the "released" link overlaps. and the "web site" link has a gap infront of it as seen in some of the screenshots. all over a very weird javascript code and the text uses a css class "small" which doesnt exist
Can we mark this WFM? Andreas pointed out which other bugs take care of special problems. pi
I agree.
