User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:34.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/34.0 Build ID: 20141126041045 Steps to reproduce: The one-click Show Remote Content button was removed in a recent "upgrade" of Thunderbird. I am presently running v 31.3.0. In its place is a context menu on which showing remote content for this message only is one of several options, others being such things as showing remote content every time for a given sender, domain, etc. As a result, it takes two clicks to authorize remote content by individual messages instead of the one required before. Substituting two clicks for one for a function so often performed is a significant step backward. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/remote-content-in-messages#thunderbird:win7:tb31 The article explaining the behavior at the above URL seems to assume that privacy is the only reason users would want to block remote content, and if that were true then authorization by sender as the norm and by individual message as the exception would make sense. It is not for me, though. I have a slow connection, and I want remote content blocked on every message, regardless of who sent it, until I authorize it for that specific message. I realize most of the people involved in Mozilla development have blazing fast internet connections, but please remember that some of us don't.
