I get this message in my system log on OS X shortly after starting Firefox. Dec 27 11:11:33 irk kernel[0]: process firefox[562] caught causing excessive wakeups. Observed wakeups rate (per sec): 839; Maximum permitted wakeups rate (per sec): 150; Observation period: 300 seconds; Task lifetime number of wakeups: 45037 ... Dec 27 11:11:34 irk.local spindump[425]: Saved wakeups_resource.diag report for firefox version 37.0a1 (3714.12.26) to /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/firefox_2014-12-27-111134_irk.wakeups_resource.diag Attaching the wakeups_resource.diag although I don't think it has anything actionable in it. CCing a couple of Mac people.
This is probably a dup of bug 1008629.

Also happens for me on release. All the Firefox diagnostic logs I could find are attached, including a segment of the system log. The most recent one is one confirmed to have this issue, and I'm pretty sure the others are for the same issue as well. It has low reprodicibility, happens about once a day browsing YouTube.
Severity: normal → S3
