Description

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.6) Gecko/20011120
BuildID: 2001112009

Clicking the link above, for example, sporadically produces a problem I've seen
in many pages; The GET URI is sent to the referring (current) host when clicking
on external links, instead of the target host.

Incidentally, I am using a proxy server.

Also noteworthy; this problem has sporadically happened on this very same bug
report form (for me) when I click the 'open bugzilla entry form'.

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.In the supplied URL, click on "Juniper Springs/Sunstone Lodge".

Actual Results: Sporadically, the request is not sent to the external server
(mammoth-mtn.worldres.com), but instead to the referring server
(www.mammothmountain.com). The refferring server will then return a 404. This
also appears to happens with POSTs..

This seems like a potential security nightmare.
You're using junkbuster, I presume

I am NOT using Junkbuster. (I am using 'Sambar Server' as a proxy)

NS3, NS4, and IEx all work 'expectedly' in the same environment.

If you're using sambar, then this is a dupe of bug 100258, which is also
invalid. See the last item at http://www.sambar.com/syshelp/proxyfaq.htm which
mentions that this is a problem in their product.
