From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:0.9.6) Gecko/20011120 BuildID: 2001112011 When you open the URL above in the old Netscape 4.5 Java gets initialized and you are prompted for your account. But in Mozilla, you get two dialogs with Javascript-errors and after that the window shows a message, that means in english: Please check your java installation. But in the settings, i have activated Javascript and Java! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open the URL above. 2.No account-dialog, but Javascript Errors 3. Expected Results: I don't want Javascript-Errors of course, but my account dialog!

Using Mozilla trunk binaries from today, 2001-11-26-xx. Site loads fine on WinNT, Linux, and only shows the reported problem on my Mac 9.1. This is exactly the Mac-specific behavior reported in bug 77600. In particular, see Comment #35 of that bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 77600 ***

Gernot, you have been cc'ed on the other bug. When that bug is fixed, the site in this bug should work on the Mac. If not, please reopen this bug again; thank you - Marking Verified Duplicate -
