This host doesn't appear to have actually been decommissioned fully. It's still showing as active in inventory and it's still in nagios. Van, do you have state here? Is the hardware actually out of the rack and the cleanup just needs to be done?

hi arr, it's showing as decommissioned in inventory for me. sal has unracked the host and we've reused it for parts. it's still in nagios and DNS because we probably assumed it would be handled by your team - infra takes care of that while we do inventory and the physical unracking. however, we can update nagios, can you take it out of DNS for future decomms?

Decommed in inventory (using the decomm command, not just changing the status) and removed from DNS.
Talked with Van, and I'm going to try to get invtool working for him on his machine so he can use it to decomm machines. Barring that, please needinfo someone from relops on the decomm bug if you still need dns/nagios removed, since we don't otherwise see these since we don't file them.
