Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:0.9.6) Gecko/20011120 BuildID: 2001112009 When configuring the browser's Preferences for the first time, the Ok button is ignored if all categories are expanded, and the Certificates is highlighted. I had to collapse all categories and then click on the Ok button on the Appearance category. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Mozilla for the first time 2. Go to the Preferences 3. Configure as you wish and change the theme to Modern 4. Select the Privacy & Security category and press Ok Actual Results: The Ok is ignored. The Preferences menu remains. Expected Results: The Preferences menu should be dismissed.
I have also seen this bug under Windows 2000. From my regression testing, this bug only occurs if you click on the Appearance root node and then click on another preferences category, either at the root or first levels.
