Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.10; rv:34.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/34.0
Build ID: 20141125180439

Steps to reproduce:

My FF windows were all minimized. The FF Window menu included an entry “Password Required” but upon selection, no dialog (window) appears. Even though it appears as a separate entry in the Windows menu it’s apparently tied to a specific FF window. In order to find it I had to individually open each FF window until I found it “attached” to one of them.

Actual results:

The Password Required dialog was not visible.

Expected results:

The dialog should have appeared when I selected it's entry in the Windows menu.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. There's no Firefox "password required" UI. Please describe how to reproduce this with a new Firefox profile.

"Password Required" is the title of the Master Password dialog.

It's generally agreed among UX/Engineering/Product that we don't want to further develop the existing master password functionality, as it's a poor fit for current needs and our current direction in this area.
