It would be interesting to have a section in the docs that contains examples of common (or at least occasionally useful) tasks, for example, scenarios in which one might run a backfill, or how to submit crashes for reprocessing.
We're no longer pushing Socorro as a product. Some of this is documented for Mozilla folks in Mana. The important things for development are either documented already or will be at some point as there's a need.

Given that, I think I'm going to mark this as WONTFIX.
