From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.5+) Gecko/20011123 Netscape6/6.5 BuildID: 2001112316 I have the default search engine set to Google in Preferences. When I hit the Search button I am taken to Netscape.com's search set to Looksmart. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select a default search engine other than Netscape.com 2. Click OK 3. Click the Search button Actual Results: Taken to Netscape.com Expected Results: Taken to default search engine
this bug is a dupe. it is either a dupe of an invalid bug (it is actually designed to work that way - search w/no text is a hard link) or it is a dupe of the bug that says changing this pref should be a global pref
